At the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) 91st annual meeting, Sally Swanson and Franz Loewenherz, from the City of Bellevue, are going to be presenting information on the use of Surface Profilers and GIS-based planning tools to prioritize sidewalk hazards. Profilers mounted with measurement apparatus cost-effectively document ADA barriers and have been used by several local municipalities to inventory these sidewalk infrastructure.
