The National ADA Symposium, May 12-15, is a comprehensive conference on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) that provides practical, expert training on ADA implementation. The Symposium brings together disability advocates, architects, government officials, and others involved with the ADA for the latest information. The goal is to provide useful, practical information that assists individuals and organizations with ADA implementation. Arfi Khambatta will be presenting on sidewalk surveying for ADA compliance. His presentation covers innovative technology, combined with GIS, that gathers accurate and fast field data. He will also cover how this technology can be used as a planning and scoping tool. Arfi is a certified Access Specialist (CASp), certified by the International Code Council (ICC), and has recently received an ADA Coordinators’ Training Certificate.
