Meet Our New Team Member: Brad Becker, GIS Specialist

Brad Becker joined our firm in the summer as a GIS Specialist. He’s already deeply involved in four of our projects, producing GIS data for the cities of San Carlos, San Marcos, Clovis and Monterey.  Brad is enhancing each City’s ability to consistently and reliably evaluate, estimate, and prioritize their required access improvements.  Brad is also involved in creating database frameworks that organize and analyze large quantities of information.

His work at SSA will primarily involve data management including data fields, data validation values, and data format and delivery procedures.  Prior to working with Sally Swanson Architects, Mr. Becker worked with the Redwood City Planning and Economic Development department as a GIS Analyst. He was in charge of a variety of projects including designing and implementing key features to the city’s web based GIS system as well as creating maps used for reference in city hall meetings.
