Bus Stop Assessments

SSA is now assisting the City in conducting assessments of ADA barriers within pedestrian public rights-of-way, including 117 bus stops for the North County Transit District.  NCTD moves more than 12 million passengers annually, and includes paratransit services.  The surveys identify physical barriers in each stop that limit accessibility and compare the facility to State Building Codes and ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG).
