SSA is updating the City’s existing ADA Transition Plan and identifying architectural and communications barriers that may limit access within public buildings, transportation, roads and sidewalks. The City has 28 parks, 30 parking lots, 4 parking garages, 360 street intersections, and a marina. SSA is analyzing accessibility  approaches and entrances, access to goods, services, and restrooms, as well as working with the city to develop a plan to remove access barriers and achieve ADA compliance.
