SSA has been retained as the County’s on-call ADA expert for code review on new construction and alteration projects. The technical assistance program also includes accessibility evaluations of existing facilities and code forensics to determine compliance with the applicable code at time of construction. As directed, SSA also investigates alleged accessibility complaints against the County within its facilities and prepares analysis and investigation reports, which include findings and recommended alternative solutions with preliminary cost estimates.
